Frequently Asked Questions

Where is The Ramble?

The Ramble takes place at “The Mountain”!  64 Gibson Road, Ashburnham, MA 01430 - 1415

What time do the grounds open?

Our festival grounds open at 9:00am.  Music will begin at 10:00am.  We will have gator-style utility vehicles ready to pick you up from the parking areas and transport you and your belongings to the festival grounds, located about ½ mile from parking.

Once you reach the festival grounds, volunteers will be at the Welcome Center to provide wristbands and to answer any questions you may have!

Is The Mountain accessible?

If you have mobility issues please reach out to Tom Donaruma tdonaruma@rallysound.org and we will make sure you are well taken care of from the time you arrive on The Mountain to your departure!

Can I bring a cooler?

Yes! You should bring any special foods or beverages that you would like for yourself.  Our Ramble Canteen will be open from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Breakfast will be available from 9:00 am - 11:00 am and lunch/dinner will be available from 11:30 am - 6:00 pm. There will be gluten-free and vegetarian options available.  *Please note: there will be no alcoholic beverages served*

Food at The Ramble Canteen will be “donate what you can.” All donations will go to our homeless veterans!

Will there be beverages for sale?

We highly recommend that you bring your own beverage of choice.  We suggest bringing a refillable water container.  We will have water stations throughout the festival grounds to keep you hydrated.

Will there be restrooms available?

Portable toilets with handwashing stations will be on site.

What if I need medical help?

Basic first aid will be available at our First Aid Tent and first responders will be standing by in case of an emergency.

What should I bring to The Ramble?

  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat/visor, lip balm
  • Bug spray
  • Comfortable walking shoes or sandals.  There will be uneven ground here and there, and possibly a bit of poison ivy near the entrance.  So please plan for appropriate footwear.
  • Lawn chairs and/or blankets (up to 8x8)
  • Flashlight or headlamp for leaving The Mountain after dark
  • Portable power bank, charge cords, and spare camera batteries as appropriate
  • Reusable water containers-lid encouraged. (The bees tend to be very curious about what might be inside your cup!  We don’t want you to get an unexpected surprise in your sip!)  There will be water filling stations throughout the festival grounds.
  • Extra clothing-plan for layers-it gets chilly on The Mountain once the sun goes down

Can I bring my dog?

We love our furry friends, but due to insurance restrictions, only registered service dogs are permitted on-site at The Mountain.

Is smoking allowed on The Mountain?

Smoking is strictly regulated at The Mountain due to extremely dry conditions.  We have one smoking area, which includes vaping, located on a paved area of the grounds.  To ensure the safety of all attendees, volunteers and performers, there will be no open flames or vaping allowed anywhere on the grassy areas of the festival grounds or parking fields.  This will be strictly enforced.  Any open flames or smoking outside of

The designated smoking area may result in your being asked to leave.

Can I bring my canopy or sunshade?

Canopy/Sunshades are permitted in designated areas furthermost from the stage.  If your camp chair has a built-in shade awning, please ensure that it won’t obstruct the view of other Ramblers.

Will there be transportation back to the parking area at the end of The Ramble?

Yes! Gators will be available to transport you and your belongings to the parking areas.  You will also have the option to walk back to the parking areas along the paved driveway.  Volunteers will be on hand to direct you to the Gator pick-up area and the lighted walkway down the driveway.

What happens if it rains?

The Ramble is a rain or shine event!  Please dress and pack accordingly!
