Join us at “The Mountain”

August 29, 2026

10:00 am - 9:30 pm EST

Hello Ramblers!!

We are so excited that you will be joining us for Ramble 17, Saturday, August 29th, at our amazing festival grounds overlooking Wachusett Valley, “The Mountain”!

Ramble 17 will be a day-long event beginning in the morning (music begins at 10:00 am) and going through the evening until approximately 9:30 pm. Rambletown will be set up and will include all of the features we have come to know and love including nonprofits, crafters, vendors, wellness activities, and our silent auction, all supporting our mission of ending veteran homelessness in the Northeast. We have assembled a group of incredible musical artists all donating their time and talent for this event!

Some Details to Help You Prep for Ramble Day:

“The Mountain” Address:
64 Gibson Rd
Ashburnham MA 01430-1415

What to Bring:
We realize The Ramble is a long day! We encourage you to plan ahead and bring what you need to make your day as comfortable as possible. For planning purposes please be aware that The Ramble is a carry in, carry out festival. When you arrive at the Welcome Center, there is a short climb uphill to the actual festival grounds.

In order to help you prepare for the day, here is a list of suggested items to bring:

  • Any special foods or beverages that you would like for yourself.

*Please note: there will be no alcoholic beverages served*

  • Lawn Chair or Blanket
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Spray
  • Flashlight or Headlamp
  • Extra Clothes (Dress in layers - it gets chilly on “The Mountain” when the sun goes down.)
  • Comfortable Footwear (The festival grounds may have uneven areas, and there may be some poison ivy here and there as you walk from the drop off point on the access road up to the festival grounds and stage.)
  • A reusable water bottle with a cover. (The bees will be very interested in the contents of our cups; we don’t want you to get an unexpected surprise in your sip.) We will have water filling stations available throughout the venue.

Dog Policy:
Much as we would love to have all our furry friends join us, dogs will not be allowed at The Ramble due to the size of the crowd. Of course, service animals are permitted.

Arriving at The Ramble and Parking:
If you are comfortable with and able to carpool with family or friends, it would be greatly appreciated, but there will be ample parking available. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 9:00 am. We will have gator utility vehicles on hand to transport you to the festival grounds. Please be aware that it is about half mile between parking and the festival grounds.

Accessibility:
If you have mobility issues and need a little extra help with parking and accessibility at The Ramble, please complete this form and we’ll make sure you’re well taken care of upon your arrival to “The Mountain,” right through your departure.

Ramble Information At Your Fingertips:
On site at The Ramble, we will have a QR Code on our Rambler wristbands which you can scan that will link you to all of The Ramble information you may need while on “The Mountain,” such as the day’s schedule, our site map, and ways to make a donation. You will receive your Rambler wristband at our Welcome Center upon arrival to “The Mountain."

Leaving the Festival:
There will be gator utility vehicle service available to transport you back to the parking area. Ramblers interested in walking back to the parking area can do so by walking down the pedestrian side of the paved driveway (approx 1/2 mile). Foot traffic will not be allowed on our access road for your safety. Volunteers will be on hand to help guide Ramblers at the conclusion of the finale.

Bathroom Facilities:
Porta-potties and hand washing stations will be available on site.

Food & Drink:
Our Ramble Canteen will be open from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Breakfast will be available from 9:00 am - 11:00 am and lunch/dinner will be available from 11:30 am - 6:00 pm. There will be gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

Food at The Ramble Canteen will be “donate what you can.” All donations will go to our homeless veterans!

Area Hotels:
If you are traveling from out of town and looking for a place to stay, there are a number of places around Ashburnham. Visit our Ramble Area Lodging page for suggestions: https://getrambled.com/area-lodging

Tent Camping:
This year tent camping is available on site at The Ramble, both Friday and Saturday nights. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept RV camping this year. Porta-potties and hand washing stations will be available, but keep in mind that this is rustic camping. No open fires are allowed and there is no access to the home on "The Mountain." If you’re interested in tent camping on site at The Ramble, please sign up using our online form by Wednesday, August 26th. Reach out to us at camping@rallysound.org with any questions.
